We’re already nearing the end of the year, and the Christmas and New Year holidays are approaching. This is the best time to clear our minds and clarify our priorities. In this life, we are always chasing something or someone, and my plan is to continue chasing my hero. Last year I wrote a post about my hero, based on Mariah Carey’s song “Hero,” and today, more than ever, I completely agree with every note of that song. When you think you have no strength left, when you feel there is no hope, when you feel alone, look inside yourself—there is a hero who will keep going, and all your fears will disappear. Facing difficulties is hard, but the growth they bring is incredible. This year I have reflected on my life, my choices, my mistakes, my triumphs, my challenges, and above all, all the growth I have achieved over the years. Life goes on and transforms us, and I continue to chase my hero. I know I will never fully reach her because until my last day I will continue working to be better. The day I feel there is nothing more to improve will be the day I stop dreaming, and I hope that day never comes. And you, who are you chasing?
