This past weekend I had the opportunity to live a very special experience. For those of you who follow my activity on social media closely, you could see it in all the photos and videos that I shared, but in this blog post I want to share the business part of the Arbonne. To be able to paint you the picture of what this company is and the impact it has at a global level, I want to start by sharing a little about the testimony of one of the presenters of the event, Jen Polis, Executive National Vice-president.
Jen shared that her mother emigrated from Poland with only 7 dollars in her pocket. When Jen started working with Arbonne, she focused on her community thinking about how this business could help all those polish women who didn’t have many options or resources to improve their financial life. Now Arbonne has a large market in Poland and that is thanks to women like Jen who took that first step.
This is me, at my first GTC Arbonne conference. Like Jen’s mom, my mother also immigrated to the United States with maybe not much more than 7 dollars in her pocket. And I know this because when we emigrated I was wearing black shoes that were scratched on the front. I still remember when we arrived to Odessa TX, my grandmother, may she rest in peace, took a black shoe polisher and left them like new. Now, thanks to my mother’s effort and sacrifice, I have a career, my own business, and financial stability. But I know that in this country, there are still many women like my mother and like Jen’s mother, who work very hard in very difficult jobs to get their families ahead and cannot be financially independent. Unfortunately, many of these women have many obstacles that prevent them from obtaining an education to reach a profession, but I also know that they all have passion, strength, determination, and above all a big desire to get ahead. For all of them, here is Arbonne.
