Yesterday I received a message full of love and good wishes, but it also had a line dedicated to sowing the doubt if my decisions are according to the plan that God has for my life or if they go according to my own plan. This message reminded me of a song I listened to not long ago in the series Sweet Magnolias on Netflix. The song is called “I was born a dreamer.” I would like to share some lines from the song, which I think they tell a lot of truth:

“Doubt cuts deeper than fear
It’ll scorn you till your hope disappears
Well I fight against the things people say
And let the tears fall where they may”

“Who can tell the measure of our dreams?
We may change the world if only we believe
With the unknown road underneath my feet
I’ll leave behind my fears and find my destiny”

“I was born a dreamer
A wide eyed believer in things unseen”

Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Doubt is precisely the opposite of faith!
